This will install our remote support tools so we can help manage your systems securely.

Open PowerShell as Administrator

Right-click the Start menu → "Windows PowerShell (Admin)" or "Terminal (Admin)"

Paste this command and press Enter

This downloads and runs our setup script automatically.

Send us your RustDesk ID

After setup completes, it will display your ID number. Send it to support@hawthornconsulting.net or call (918) 922-0417.

Open Terminal

Press ⌘ + Space, type "Terminal", and press Enter.

Open a Terminal

Supports Ubuntu/Debian, Fedora/RHEL, Arch, and openSUSE.

Paste this command and press Enter

You'll need root access. The script auto-detects your package manager.

What gets installed:

  • RustDesk — Secure remote desktop (like TeamViewer, but private)
  • Tailscale — Encrypted network access for ongoing management
  • SSH — Remote Login enabled for secure command-line access

All tools are lightweight and can be uninstalled at any time.

All connections are encrypted end-to-end. We use our own servers — your data never touches third parties.
